  • What drew you to Benedictine Sisters?
    Happened to pick up brochure in back of church.  Would have chosen life much earlier if I had known about it.  Initially hesitant because I thought Sisters came straight from heaven and I am very ordinary.  Would choose again to be Sister if given the chance. 
  • What has been the most enriching about Benedictine life?
    Found out that Sisters were real and human not like my original thoughts. 
  • Advice to someone thinking about religious life?
    Pray. Be open.  Learn what you can about religious life.

  • What drew you to Benedictine Sisters?
    Knowing about the Divine Office—common prayer and the beauty and the value of prayer.  Knowing the Sisters taught Bible School.
  • What has been the most enriching about Benedictine life?
    My life has been more prayerful than otherwise.  I get to go to Church more often.  Touch many lives—spiritual parent to many.
  • Advice to someone thinking about religious life?
    I would invite the person to come and spend some time here.  If your vocation is true, you will know and you will come.

    Having an older brother who was a Benedictine monk.  My Pastor suggested I get to know Benedictine Sisters.
  • What has been the most enriching about Benedictine life?
    The prayer life, the companionship (working, praying and playing together), high values and ideals.
  • Advice to someone thinking about religious life?
    MOST wonderful thing to do with your life.
